One Week Before Spring Break!

We have one more week before a much needed and well-deserved spring break! A few things to mention:

• Reading State Assessments are complete (besides a few make-ups)! I am extremely proud of each student. We have spent all year preparing for these (and the last month or two focusing directly on reading and test taking strategies) and I am so impressed with how hard each of them worked. Scores should be sent to your home sometime this summer or fall. When they come in the mail, please make sure to look at them with your child!
• Now that reading assessments are over, we are moving onto math. We will spend the next two weeks preparing for these assessments and reviewing all of the standards that will be tested. Again, if you need the exact dates of these testing days, let me know.
• Finally, the end of the 3rd quarter was Friday, March 11 (How did this year fly by?!?! One quarter left?!?!). Grade cards will be available to view on Friday, March 18. PLEASE make sure to look at these with your child.
