On Tuesday, we started learning about finding perimeter on polygons. Each student was required to make a shape with a certain perimeter. They used masking tape and a ruler to make the shapes on the carpet. They labeled each side with how many inches it was.
Then, on Wednesday, the students went around the room to solve other students' perimeter problems.
Mackenzie and Jordyn find the perimeters of some polygons.
Jada's hexagon. Do you know what the perimeter is?
Alejandro solves the perimeters of 3 different shapes.
Lindsey solves the perimeter of Max's Pac-Man.
Jordyn and Celbi solve more perimeter problems.
Drew finds the perimeter of Mrs. Harder's triangle.
Darien is figuring out what the perimeter is of a hexagon when each side is 5 inches long.
Jackson finds the perimeter of two triangles.
Alice finds the perimeter of two pentagons.
Jeb used multiplication to solve the perimeter of the pentagons.
Ali finds the perimeter of the triangles.
