One Day Down...

We have finished our first day together! It was a great day even though it went extremely quickly. Some of the main events of our first day:

• Mr. Duffy spoke to us about expectations in our building and at recess.
• The kids took their first "test" of the year! Hopefully they learned a lot about fourth grade and a little about me!
• We got to know each other a little bit better.
• Finally, we organized and labeled a lot of supplies- including:

-552 new pencils
- 230 new markers
-230 new colored pencils
- 207 folders
- 23 rulers
-23 scissors
-23 spiral notebooks
-23 binders
- 23 packs of paper (1,150 pages total- we have lots of writing to do!)
-92 dry erase markers
-46 erasers
-46 pencil pouches
- 46 math journals


And, we have more to get done tomorrow!
