A few things...

We have just finished our 3 week into the 3rd quarter. It is amazing how quickly this year has gone.

A few things...

• I did not send home Friday Folders this weekend. I planned on grading things this week and, because of our snow/ice day, I ended up stuck at home without any grading to do. Therefore, there was not really anything to send home. I will plan on sending Friday Folders home next week (the 28th) as normal.
• The spelling bee has been rescheduled for Monday, the 24th, at 12:15.
• If you have not checked your child's grade card already, PLEASE look at it WITH your child. This way, he/she knows what things they are doing well and what he/she can improve on.
• I will be sending a schedule home in the beginning of February regarding dates for state assessments. Please be looking for this!
• I will also plan on sending Mid-Quarter reports home in the next 1 to 2 weeks.
  
• This quarter your child is responsible for these things:

1. 4 RC tests passed (with a score of 7/10)
2. Math Fact Calendars for January and February
   
3. 2 Writer's Workshop final copies
4. 1 to 2 Writing Prompt papers (one is completed already--these are done in class)
