Practicing the Scientific Method

In order to practice the 6 steps of the scientific method, students did an experiment to see if we can put more drops of plain water or soapy water on a silver coin.  Students used dimes, nickels, and quarters (but we all used the heads side so that wouldn't change our results).  They had done this experiment last year with pennies, so we wanted to see if we would get the same conclusion this time.

After dropping the water on the coins, they recorded their data and then made graphs to present their data.
